February 3 - India's first electric Train
Almost 97 years ago on this day in 1925, India inaugurated the services of its First electric train. The daily service started between Bombay VT and Kurla on the Harbour line. A 129 ft high Railway gantry was assembled to make this possible.
The first Electric Multiple Unit (EMU) train started its journey in 1928. Before this, suburban trains were hauled by steam engines. This was a major shift for Railways India & a big step towards technological development.
There is no online classes today soI woke up late.I am awakened by the beams of light shining in my face. But our shiny ma'am gave us a assignment to do in this day. So I changed my lazyness and being ready to do the assignments😊. Ma'am gave the assignments to do about the core teaching skills, Microteaching, It's advantages and disadvantages.
